Welcome to our Website!

AMON was officially launched in December 2005 and aims to create a professional organization for Maltese Orthopaedic Nurses.  The mission of AMON is to empower Maltese Orthopaedic Nurses to become experts in musculo-skeletal nursing care, enhance collaboration, sharing of knowledge and communication between local orthopaedic nurses as well as nurture contacts with Orthopaedic Nursing Associations in other countries. 

The Association is affiliated within the Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses (MUMN) and has an autonomous Executive Committee that manages the activities of AMON.   The Committee is made up of clinical nurses who work in the Orthopaedic Unit in St.Luke’s Hospital -which is Malta’s  biggest hospital.
